Pressure units

The Makutech® pressure unit will supply the pressure on the liquid side. The stand-alone versions will also supply air pressure. All parts are stainless steel (except the carrier frame).

The pump is frequency controlled which enables smooth capacity adjustments. Because of the patented design of the Makutech® foam guns for some models the liquid/air ratio will remain constant throughout the entire operating range. Other models will require a simple ratio control. For high tech applications electronic ratio control may be advisable.

This allows an easy means of connecting the pump to a factory supervisory control system for automatic operation. In that case we recommend you use and ultrasonic level controller for the detection of foam.

P-80/220 and P-80/380

The model shown above is the P-80/220 (which looks identical to the P-80/380). This pressure unit runs off the factory power grid and uses either 220 volts alternating current or 380 volts three-phase current (also know as rotating current).

It can be used with any kind of carrier gas required.

All parts of this machine are also available separately to ensure that the equipment can be fitted on your machines if required.

This machine has a fixed liquid to foam ratio for your convenience. Simply switch the machine on and you'll always have the same ratio, suited for your foam glue and your material.

P-80/diesel

This unit is equipped with a diesel engine. This engine is used to run a compressor to deliver the compressed air to the foam gun. At the same time the engine runs a small power generator to drive the liquid compressor.

This means the unit is entirely stand-alone. Ideal for use on construction sites for residential buildings, offices, industrial sites. With an capacity of up to 11.4 m3/hr an abundant amount of foam can be produced.

SP-80/diesel

This is a complete mobile unit, built around a diesel powered flake dispenser F-80. From big bags with base material to fluffy flakes in one go. The compressor can generate enough air to transport the flakes through the special foam gun, mix with foam and spray on walls or ceilings.

The perfect solution for building sites. The entire equipment will fit on a small truck (or large pick-up) for 100% stand alone operation.

Ideal for use in underground parkings or the interior coating of tunnels. Simply drive through and spray-on!

Electronic Ratio Control unit

This is an expansion set to the units listed above. This set provides ratio control, which allows adaptation of the liquid to foam ratio. By simply turning a knob the ratio can be adjusted on the fly. This is the ideal machine if you want to use the machine for different materials which may require different ratio's.

Remote Control unit

This is an expansion set to the units listed above. This set provides remote control specifically for mobile or limited working space applications. This unit is ideal for use in spray-on applications.

  main features

The Makutech® pressure units are designed to supply pressure and flow on the liquid side of the foam gun.

The pressure is required for optimal foam formation. The flow, which is frequency controlled for smooth operation) controls the amount of foam.

feature data
liquid pressure, in >1 bar
liquid pressure, out 5 - 20 bar
air pressure, in 6 - 8 bar
air quantity 4 - 20 times the liquid volume
foam quantity max 11.4 m3/hr

The diesel versions use ordinary motor vehicle diesel or low-tax factory diesel.

  available models

A wide range of models is available.

code description
P-80/220 pressure unit for 220 volts alternating current.
P-80/380 pressure unit for 380 volts three-phase current
P-80/diesel pressure unit with diesel power for stand-alone operation
SP-80/diesel pressure unit with diesel power for stand alone operation and connections for the flake dispenser

On special request we can deliver stand-alone diesel versions with carrier gasses other than air.

The ERC unit (electronic ratio control) is optional on any of the pressure unit models available.

  carrier gas

Capable of producing with multiple carrier gasses depending on the application.

Required gas quantity approximately 8 times the volume of the liquid component, unless equipped with an RC (ratio control) unit.

The stand-alone versions carry a built in compressor and use ambient air as carrier gas.

  liquid

This unit is especially designed to be used with Makutech® foam liquids.

A special version is available for two component systems (for example for use with Tyvek® or other plastics).
