It is supplied as a liquid, and has to be applied as a foam (using a special foam'gun'). Because of the foam structure ultra low quantities can be applied reliably, and after curing the glue layer maintains it's flexibility. At that point the layer doesn't look like foam anymore, just like a thin layer.
